Acrylic Thermoforming and Bending in Miami

Flat acrylic only takes a design so far. We heat and form sheet into curves, radii, covers, enclosures, and shaped displays that hold their geometry under load and under Florida heat.

Line bending and thermoforming

Two processes, two different jobs.

Line bending heats a single strip of the sheet and folds it on that axis. It is how you get clean single-fold pieces: sign holders, brochure stands, easels, bent-leg tables, three-sided cases from one continuous panel with no glued corners. Fast, no tooling cost, and the corner stays optically continuous instead of showing a seam.

Thermoforming heats the full sheet and pulls it over tooling. That is what you need for compound curves, domes, recessed trays, and anything that cannot be described as a fold.

Why a formed corner beats a glued one

A bent corner is one piece of material. A glued corner is two pieces and a joint, and the joint is where things fail. Under load, under UV, under twenty customers a day leaning on the display.

When the piece has to look seamless or survive handling, forming wins. When geometry rules it out, we bond it, and we do that in house too with UV adhesive and solvent welding.

Florida is the test

Heat that softens acrylic in a shop is the same heat that finds a badly formed part in a storefront window. Stress left in the material from rushed cooling shows up later as crazing, warping, or a corner that relaxes out of square.

We anneal formed parts so they hold. It costs time up front and saves the replacement.

Tooling

For repeat production we build the tooling and keep it, so the reorder does not carry the setup again. For one-off pieces we work from your drawing or a sample.
